NBC2 BIOMAN Academies for High School Students

BIOMAN ACADEMIES – preparing the next generation

NBC2 will offer several BIOMAN Academies this summer for high school students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year. This four-day academy will take place annually for the next three years starting in June 2016 at NBC2 hub schools: Montgomery County Community College, Bucks County Community College, Alamance Community College, Finger Lakes Community College, Ivy Tech Community College, and MiraCosta College. Academies will provide high school students an opportunity to explore the fields of biomanufacturing and biotechnology through experimentation, faculty lectures and career talks. A lab based hands-on approach will allow students to learn the science behind biologic drug development and manufacture. For more information click here.
