The first of the new NBC2 mini-BIOMAN conferences is coming to Alamance Community College in Graham, North Carolina. Hosted by Bill Woodruff, Southern Hub co-PI, the conference will be July 19-July 21, 2016.
NBC2 mini-BIOMAN Conferences will highlight a specific area of biomanufacturing. The three-day, hands-on workshops will provide in-depth knowledge of and experience in the most cutting-edge biomanufacturing technologies. Each mini-BIOMAN Conference will encompass three days packed with hands-on laboratory activities and informative lectures. At the conclusion of the mini-BIOMAN, participants will have a comprehensive, ready-to-insert curriculum module to utilize in their own classrooms. Curricular materials include SOPs, PowerPoint slides and links to helpful resources and references. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day of the conference, and transportation to off-site venues is included. Hotel accommodations and travel funds are available for out-of-town participants. Visit the mini-BIOMAN 2016 page for more information on this event.
